The Regions Rule

Exton Park Blanc de Noirs NV, Pinot Meunier Rosé, and Brut Reserve NV.

Many people in the Hampshire and Sussex area already know about Exton Park, and our award-winning range of wines from our single-estate, high on the chalk slopes of the South Downs, just outside Winchester. And where to buy them locally.

But it has long been our dream to spread the news far and wide, and to make Exton Park available right across the country. Over the last year, thanks to the hard work of our team, that dream is being realised.

We are delighted to announce the start of our regional network of distributors all of whom totally understand our philosophy and premium positioning, and what makes Exton Park so special. They, in turn, will pass these messages on to their own contacts, whether independent retailers or top hotels and restaurants in their area. And all of whom are proud to be our representatives.

We started in Hampshire, with Stone, Vine and Sun of Twyford, and then Butlers Wine Cellars in Brighton, covering that important East and West Sussex area. Moving north, Corks Out of Cheshire were appointed, followed swiftly by Stainton Wines in Cumbria. In the East Midlands, Amps Fine Wines of Oundle came on board, then the Oxford Wine Company for Oxford and the North Cotswolds, and Cambridge Wine Merchants for East Anglia.

The most recent two appointments have been Inverarity Morton, north of the Border into Scotland, and now we are delighted to announce the addition of Friarwood Fine Wines in London to our ‘family’. Friarwood, with their shops in Parsons Green, and just-opened Wimbledon, will also cover Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Bath in NE Somerset along the M4 corridor.

Kit Ellen explains: These partnerships around the UK offer us some very exciting opportunities at both regional and national levels. It also highlights that there is a clear demand for English Wines, and an awareness of the high quality and stylistic variation that can be achieved in this exciting category.

We are planning a great year of trading to cement these partnerships. Along with our Head Winemaker and Vineyard Manager, I will be travelling to tastings and events up and down the country, to support our new partners and to communicate the news of our pioneering wines; our focus on terroir expression; and our commitment to produce the very best quality English Sparkling Wines from our single-vineyard.

We believe that we are one of very few English Sparkling Wine producers to sell our wines in this way, which allows us flexibility and an appreciation of our style at all levels, and in all places. There is still some way to go though, before Exton Park is available right round the country…

Meanwhile, watch out for Exton Park wines on YOUR doorstep….And if they are not available there yet, then let us know. You can still buy our wines, of course, direct from the website here. And don’t forget, postage and packing is FREE for 6 or more bottles.
