EXTON PARK WITH THE GREAT AND THE GOOD

Posted on

We are delighted, and extremely proud, to have had our Blanc de Noirs NV poured at a recent UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) “Exporting is GREAT” event at Lancaster House, hosted by Number 10 Downing Street and the Cabinet Office.  We were among some of the finest English wines available.

The event was attended by Government ministers alongside companies such as BT, Microsoft, the UK’s leading Banks and others that are supporting the “Exporting is GREAT” campaign and banging the drum for Britain’s exports.

UKTI is a Government organisation that works with UK companies to ensure their success in international markets through exports.  We have been working with them in recent months to develop an export strategy that will take Exton Park to markets the world over.

It is good to see our industry being celebrated with pride, and shown off to the world at such a prestigious event. And also to see Exton Park taking its rightful place among the leading producers of English wine.

Lewis Scott, UKTI South East Regional Director, said:

“English wine is an international success story, putting English sparkling wine from the South East firmly on the global map. The range of English wine on show at the Exporting is GREAT Partner Event at Lancaster House that are successfully exporting to markets as diverse as the US, Sweden, Australia, Japan, France and the Caribbean is a testament to our excellent producers embracing the huge opportunities overseas.

The demand is out there, across all sectors. I’d urge every type of business in the South East to take their first leap and apply for one of around 2000 live export opportunities at www.exportingisgreat.gov.uk.”
